M.V.P. [c] vs. Rey Mysterio [United States Championship Match]
MVP enters the ring first followed by Rey Mysterio wearing
a mask over his mask. He puts it on a youngster in the crowd
after he gets to ringside. The two circle the center of the
ring and we have a bell. MVP with a single leg takedown and
Rey quickly jumps to his feet. We circle the ring again and
MVP gets Rey down again, but Rey gets free and we have a stand-off.
Rey off the ropes, leapfrogs MVP then small packages MVP for
a one count. Rey to the ropes again, MVP telegraphs the back
body drop and gets kicked to the head. Rey then boddyscissors
MVP to the outside. Rey was about to go coast-to-coast and
suicide dive outside onto MVP but the referee prevented him
from doing that. Referee then has his head outside the ropes
counting MVP out when Rey decides to do a suicide dive over
the ref to the outside, connecting with MVP. Rey goes for
a hurricanrada but MVP tosses him over his head into the turnbuckle
headfirst. MVP hooks the leg for a pin and gets one. MVP slows
the pace with a headlock. Rey gets up and then gets drop toe
held to the mat. MVP hits a running kick to the head of Rey
and pins him for a two count. MVP applies a neck wrench submission
now. He follows up with a knee to the face of Ray and a nonchalant
pin for a two count. MVP back to the neck wrench. Reye tries
to battle out with kicks and breaks free. Slow pace still,
Rey tries to run to the ropes but MVP catches him by the head
as he begins to run away from him and slams Rey down back
first. MVP now gorilla presses MVP but Rey lands on his feet,
MVP to the ropes and to his surprise gets hurricanrada’d by
Rey. Rey mounting offense. Whipped to the corner, applies
a headscissors, MVP tosses Rey over the rope to the apron.
Rey leaps in and botches a springboard plancha attempt and
grabs his knee. He then goes to the outside apron and springboards
onto MVP for a two count. Rey bounces off the ropes and gets
clotheslined by MVP. MVP sets up Rey on the top rope for a
super face plant. Rey blocks it with punches. Rey on the top
now and gets shoved off the ropes to the outside apron. He
gets back up and climbs the ropes, and springboards a hurricanrada
from the top ropes and connects on MVP who flips into the
ring as a result. MVP delivers a big boot to the head of Rey
and gets a two count. Now Porter sets up a Reverse Suplex,
but Rey floats over and counters with a DDT and a two count.
Rey sets up a 619 now and attempts it but MVP moves and slides
outside of the ring. Rey steps to the outside apron and follows
with a running hurricanrada on MVP. The referee counts both
men down. Rey gets back in and MVP intentionally stays outside
getting himself counted out. Your Winner by countout: Rey
Mysterio After the match, Rey baseball slides to the outside
connecting with MVP, and then he sets him up for a 619 and
hits. MVP gets up shortly after and leaves quickly.
C.M.Punk & Kane vs. Mark Henry & Big Daddy V We have
a bell and C.M.Punk starts with Mark Henry. They lock up and
Henry tosses him down. They circle again and Punk with a go
behind and lands a few kicks, then tries a single leg takedown
but Henry tosses him off again. Punk drop toe holds Henry
into the corner and tags in Kane who delivers a bunch of uppercuts,
then also tries a single leg takedown but Henry fights back.
Kane to the ropes and he dropkicks the knee of Henry, then
tags Punk back in. Punk with a dropkick to the head but then
gets whipped to the ropes and clotheslined down. Big Daddy
V tagged in and he delivers a chop to Punk. Then he delivers
a knife edge to him in the corner. Punk bounces off the ropes
and gets knocked to the mat by Vis who follows up by tossing
Punk outside. Striker on the outside lands a cheap shot kick
to Punk, who crawls back inside. Henry tagged back inside
and walks over Punk with his weight. Punk eventually makes
a desperation tag to Kane who runs in and delivers clotheslines
to Henry, staggering him. Kane to the top ropes, and hits
a flying clothesline. He calls for a Chokeslam, but Big Daddy
V distracts Kane, keeping him from attempting it. Vis tagged
in now and Kane slaps on a choke but Vis breaks it and hits
a Seated Two handed choke slam. Two count only thanks to Punk
breaking it up. Big Daddy V tags Mark Henry back in, but before
he leaves the ring he Stinger Splashes Kane in the corner.
Henry immediately applies a Bear Hug. Kane tries to push to
his corner and tag Punk but Henry backs him up into his own
corner. Kane hits a desperation DDT on Henry and both men
are down for the count. Punk gets the tag and goes right after
Vis with punches and kicks, then hits a running knee lift,
and another. He follows up with an insiguri kick. Striker
up on the apron and Punk kicks him off. Punk then springboards
into the ring onto Vis who catches him and drops him into
a big Samoan Drop and covers him quickly for the pinfall and
the victory. Your Winners: Big Daddy V and Mark Henry
Mr. Kennedy vs. Shawn Michaels Kennedy comes to the
ring first and does his usual schtick. Shawn Michaels introduced
next. The two start out with an all out brawl. Kennedy takes
the early upper hand, taking HBK from corner to corner and
ramming him into the turnbuckle headfirst. Shawn sent to the
opposite corner and flips over in typical fashion. HBK retaliates
with a chop block to Kennedy to shift momentum. Michaels hits
a reverse Russian legsweep on Kennedy and then applies a hammerlock
to the arm of Kennedy. Kennedy spears HBK through the ropes
to the outside now. Kennedy tries to ram HBK across the ring
apron lower back first, but it’s reversed. Back inside now
and HBK is working on Kennedy’s injured left arm and hand.
Kennedy fighting back with punches but Michaels falls through
the ropes to the apron, but hangs onto Kennedy’s hand as he
falls through. Kennedy keeps punching him and goes out onto
the apron. He battles HBK with punches then backs him into
the ringpost back first. Kennedy has HBK in the corner now
and boot chokes him. Shawn then kicks Kennedy’s injured arm,
Kennedy retaliates with a running facewash and a two count.
Backbreaker on HBK now and a two count for Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy
applies a back stretch. Shawn tries to battle out but instead
gets consecutive elbow drops for his troubles. Kennedy is
constantly shaking out his hand selling the left hand injury.
Scoop slam on HBK and Mr. Kennedy goes to the second rope.
He gives a little crotch chop and flies, HBK gets a boot up
but Kennedy lands on his feet to reverse and drops an elbow.
Two count for Kennedy. Shawn Michaels now back body drops
a charging Mr. Kennedy to the outside of the ring. Referee
counts him down. Back inside now, and Shawn delivers knife
edge chops in succession, then bounces off the ropes and hits
a flying forearm, nips up and hits an inverted atomic drop,
and another, then delivers right hands. Shawn scoop slams
Kennedy and sells the back injury. HBK climbs the ropes and
hits the Flying Elbow Drop. He goes to the corner and starts
tuning up the band, calling for the Sweet Chin Music. He delivers,
but Kennedy ducks and immediately rolls up HBK and gets a
two count. Kennedy now has HBK in a fireman’s carry, but HBK
slips behind and rolls up Kennedy as a reversal. Two count
for HBK. Kennedy slingshots HBK into the ringpost, face first.
Kennedy then hits the Samoan Forward Roll and gets a two count.
Kennedy is visibly shaken now thanks to the kick out. He goes
for a Reverse Russian Legsweep but HBK hangs onto the ropes
and Kennedy falls to his back. Shawn then delivers a Superkick
out of nowhere when he gets to his feet, immediately covers
him and scores the three count. Your Winner: Shawn Michaels
Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy [#1 Contender Match for WWE Championship]
Hardy introduced first followed by Triple H. Hardy takes
a deep breath as the bell rings, and the two circle the center
of the ring. Jeff extends his hand and Triple H shakes it,
pulls him in close then shoves Hardy. They circle and lock
up. Hunter with a side headlock and goes to the ropes. Shoulderblock
on Hardy. Triple H hits a big lariat on Hardy. Hardy with
three arm drag takeovers on Hunter, who slides outside of
the ring. Jeff baseball slides to the outside but Hunter moves.
Hardy then tries to walk the rails and hit a flying maneuver
on Triple H but lost his balance as he turned the corner and
leapt off. Triple H then clotheslined him down. Back inside
the ring we go. Jeff Hardy goes for a big punch but holds
up and Triple H delivers a HUGE slap to the face. Triple H
taunts him telling him “FIGHT ME! FIGHT ME!” Hardy delivers
a big slap to the face of The Game who smiles and then kicks
him in the gut. He then whips him to the outside of the ring
and follows by whipping Hardy into the steel steps. Back inside
the ring they go. Hardy hits a back elbow on Hunter and tries
to climb the ropes. Hunter shoves him off and Hardy crashes
down to the outside floor. Triple H brings Jeff back inside
and drops an elbow on him, then goes for a pin and gets two.
Abdominal stretch applied by Triple H. Hunter sends Hardy
to the ropes and applies a sleeper hold. Jeff runs Triple
H into the corner and ducks down sending Triple H headfirst
into the turnbuckle. The two exchange punches, a series of
missed clotheslines as Hardy bounces off the ropes, and he
finally connects with a flying forearm. Hardy has Triple H
in the corner, delivers punches until Triple H falls to a
seated position. Jeff then tries to hit his signature slingshot
dropkick and Hunter moves. Triple H outside now and Jeff Hardy
hits a plancha onto Hunter and rolls him back inside. Jeff
immediately to the ropes and connects on a Flying Cross Body,
two count for Jeff. Jeff goes for a Twist of Fate, but Triple
H turns it into a DDT and gets a two count. Jeff tries a crucifix
pin, but Triple H counters by falling to a seated position.
Hardy then crucifixes him anyway and gets a two count. Jeff
hits a mule kick followed by the slingshot dropkick in the
corner. He climbs the ropes and misses the Swanton Bomb. Hunter
quickly goes for a pin, but Jeff kicks out. Triple H hits
a big-time spine buster, and tries to set up the Pedigree.
Jeff counters with a double leg takedown and leaps over immediately
into a bridge…1….2….3!!!! Jeff Hardy takes the match via pinfall.
Your Winner and new #1 contender: Jeff Hardy
Great Khali vs. Finlay Bell rings and Finlay
gets right in Khali’s face. Khali shoves him down and Finlay
goes to work on the legs with kicks. Khali with a big chop.
The match takes to the outside now and Khali sending Finlay
into the ringpost. Finlay tries to kick Khali from the apron,
but Khali reaches up and slaps Finlay’s chest with a huge
crash. Back inside and Khali applies a nerve hold, Finlay
breaks free, runs rope to rope but gets caught with a big
boot by Khali. Another nerve hold applied to Finlay. Finlay
gets to the ropes for the break, but Khali slaps on the Vice
Grip. Hornswoggle is on the apron and Khali yanks him in then
swats him out of the ring. Khali working slowly and methodically.
He removes one of the turnbuckle pads. Referee stops him,
so he goes to another corner and does the same thing. Finlay
tries to clock Khali with a shillelagh while the ref is not
paying attention. Khali turns, Finlay winds up but gets caught
and drops the shillelagh. The ref sees it and gets rid of
it but while he does that Hornswoggle brings in a second one
and hits Khali with a low blow, then Finlay clocks Khali with
the shillelagh, and pins him for the victory. Your Winner:

Randy Orton [c] vs. Chris Jericho [WWE Championship Match]
Y2J introduced first to a sizable pop. Randy Orton out
next. We get the standard in-ring introductions. We have a
bell and the two circle the center of the ring, and lock up.
Break. They circle and lock up again and Jericho with an arm
drag takeover. Another lockup and Orton backs Jericho into
the corner. Jericho with an arm drag, and another, into an
arm bar to slow the pace. Orton gets to a vertical base and
elbows Jericho in the head. Y2J front suplexes Orton across
the middle of the top ropes and then lands a field goal kick
to the ribs of a fallen Orton, and another. Jericho with another
arm bar. Orton back to his feet and gets sent to the ropes
and kicks Jericho in the gut. Orton back off the ropes and
Jericho lands a nice spinning heel kick. Orton rolls outside
and Y2J climbs the ropes and hits a flying cross body onto
Orton on the outside. Orton gets inside the ring first and
tries to bring Jericho in with the delayed DDT , but instead
Jericho reverses into a Walls of Jericho but Orton quickly
wriggles free. Orton applies a headlock to Y2J on the mat.
Jericho battles to a vertical base and lands elbows to break
free. He goes to the ropes, and Orton lands a dropkick, and
a two count. Orton applies a sleeper on the mat now. Jericho
sent to the corner. Jericho springs off and it looks like
the two collide heads accidentally. Both men are down for
a count. They are both up at eight and now exchange blows.
Jericho hits a flying forearm, and then some shoulder blocks
as he bounces off the ropes. Finally, he lands a clothesline
and a two count for Y2J. Jericho on the second rope and lands
a drop kick to the head. Two count for Y2J. Jericho off the
ropes and Orton hits a snap powerslam. Two count for Orton.
Orton looking for an RKO, but Jericho counters into a backslide
and gets a two count. Orton sends Jericho into the turnbuckle
headfirst. Jericho tries to apply the Walls of Jericho but
Orton reverses into an inside cradle. Two count. Jericho hits
a big insiguri kick to the back of the head, followed by a
running bulldog, He then goes for a Lionsault, but Orton gets
the knees up as a reversal. The champ then connects on an
inverted backbreaker. Orton goes for an RKO but Jericho shoves
him off. Jericho hits a Lionsault and goes for the pin, but
only gets two. Jericho charges Orton in the corner who back
body drops him over the ropes to the outside. Jericho charges
Orton, who sidesteps and Jericho flies over the announce table
onto JBL. JBL stands up, angry but does not do anything. Orton
back inside the ring, and Jericho climbs the ropes and hits
a flying forearm smash. Jericho calling for the Code Breaker
but Orton catches him and tosses him into the corner. Orton
has Jericho on the mat. Orton charges for a kick, but Jericho
moves and turns it into the Walls of Jericho in the middle
of the ring. Orton crawls to the ropes and reaches. Jericho
brings him back to the middle of the ring. Out of nowhere,
JBL hits the ring and hits a big boot to the head of Chris
Jericho disqualifying Orton. Your Winner by disqualification:
Chris Jericho Orton was about to exit the ring with the
belt when Orton turns his head and hits an RKO on Jericho,
and then leaves.
Beth Phoenix [c] vs. Mickie James [Women’s Championship
Match] Jillian Hall comes to the ring and starts talking
about how her new music is the hottest download on iTunes.
She starts singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
Mickie James hits the ring and Jillian stops and leaves. Beth
Phoenix introduced next. They lock up and Mickie applies a
side headlock. Mickie goes for a bulldog but Beth tosses her
off. Mickie comes back with kicks and punches. Mickie elbows
her and then tries a hurricanrada but Beth catches her and
powerbombs her. Two count for Beth. Beth applies a snap mare
into a dragon sleeper. Mickie fights back with knees to the
face. Beth rams Mickie into the corner, gets her in a tree
of woe and charges. Mickie pulls up to avoid the contact and
then rolls up Beth for a two count. Mickie gets put in a chickenwing
submission. She hits back elbows on Beth and then drops to
the mat and kicks her. Mickie floats over a suplex attempt
then back elbows her and hurricanrada’s Beth. Thesz press
on Beth and a barrage of punches unleashed. Mickie with a
dropkick and a two count. Mickie calls for a DDT but reversed
out. Beth kicks Mickie to the head and then hits the delayed
Fisherman’s Suplex for the pinfall and the victory. Your
Winner: Beth Phoenix
Batista [c] vs. Edge vs. Undertaker [World Championship
Match] Batista introduced first, followed by Edge, then
the Undertaker. The bell rings and Taker goes for Edge first
who escapes out of the ring. Batista and Taker lock up and
Batista shoves Taker outside of the ring. Batiste drops out
of the ring and catches Edge who tries to escape back inside
of the ring. Batista and Taker push each other off of Edge
who eventually escapes. Taker in the ring and Edge attacks
him with punches. Edge to the ropes and he drops to the outside
again. Batista back in again and goes after Taker with punches.
Taker gets clotheslined outside next to Edge. Taker slaps
a choke on Edge but Batista dropkicks Edge out of the choke.
Back inside goes Batista who is laying face up, with his head
protruding under the bottom rope, hanging over the apron.
Taker drops a big legdrop on the apron onto Batista. Edge
sends Batista inside and tries to pin him quickly but only
gets two. Edge Spears Taker off the apron, then turns around
and gets sidewalk slammed by Batista and a two count for Batista.
Edge calls for a Spear on Batista, but Batista gets a boot
up to knock out Edge. He then powerslams Edge down and gets
a two count thanks to Taker yanking Batista outside of the
ring. Taker sends Batista back in after a few blows. Taker
now sets up Edge so that he’s half hanging of the ring apron,
and he goes to deliver a legdrop but Batista explodes with
a clothesline of Taker before he can connect. Batista and
Edge now in the ring. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb, Edge
hits a low blow and hits the Impalor DDT and Taker yanks the
referee out of the ring at two. Edge looks terrified as Taker
gets into the ring now. Edge delivers a punch but it doesn’t
phase The Phenom. Taker whips Edge to the corner and gets
clothslined. Taker hits Snake Eyes on Edge, followed by a
big boot, and a two count for Taker. Taker hits Old School
on Edge. He sets up The Last Ride, but Batista Spears Taker
while he had Edge up for the Powerbomb. Batista sends Edge
out of the ring, Batista goes for a pin but Taker applies
a Triangle Choke on Batista. Edge goes outside and rings the
bell. Taker lets go of the hold thinking he’s won. Edge hides
the bell and runs around the ring. Enters behind Taker and
Spears him. Two count for Edge. Edge then Spears Batista and
only gets two. Edge now visibly shaken. He goes and gets two
chairs, setting one up under Batista’s head. Batista then
kicks the other chair into Edge’s face. Taker knocks Edge
outside of the ring. Batista hits a running clothesline on
Taker. Batista and Taker on the top rope now. Taker tries
a superplex, and connects!!! Taker gets an arm over Batista
and only gets a two count. Taker goes for Old School on Batista,
and leaps. Batista catches him and hits a Spine Buster as
a reversal. He calls for the Batista Bomb. Edge runs in, Batista
Spears him. Batista goes for the Bomb but Taker backs him
into the corner as a reversal. Edge is outside of the ring
now on the mat. There is another individual dressed as Edge
on the floor face down. Fake Edge leaps into the ring and
gets Chokeslammed by Taker. Taker hits Snake Eyes on Batista,
then bounces off the ropes for a clothesline but Batista hits
a clothesline of his own. Taker hits a Tombstone on Batista.
Edge runs in with a chair as Taker pins Batista and clocks
him with a chair. Edge then covers Batista and gets the three
count to steal the victory. Your Winner and new champion:
Edge The two fake Edge’s stumble up the aisle and leave
ringside having taken the beating that would have otherwise
been delivered to the real Edge.
