Chris Nowinski Speaking With U.S. Senate; WWE TV Tapings; Bret Hart

Tonight’s WWE Main Event and WWE Friday Night SmackDown tapings take place from the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Confirmed for Main Event is Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston vs. WWE Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Bad News Barrett, Seth Rollins and Jack Swagger and confirmed for WWE Friday Night SmackDown is Bray Wyatt vs. WWE United States Heavyweight Champion Sheamus plus Roman Reigns will also be in in-ring competition.

Former WWE talent Chris Nowinski will be speaking before the United States Senate tomorrow to discuss the long-term impact of sports related brain injuries. Nowinski and his contingent will appear before a U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging that will explore brain injuries and the connection to neurological disease later in life.

As noted, WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart will be appearing on the July 7th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW from Montreal. It is also rumored that Bret may work the SmackDown tapings that week also.
