Pre-Show Match: The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs. Goldust and Stardust
JT: Really? I thought Big E and Kofi were supposed to be heels? Guess WWE continues to give them stuff that just doesn't connect with the audience. Awesome! I want to pick the veterans in Goldy and Stardust here, but the New Day group is new and that means WWE usually has them win. New Day is my official prediction with possible help from Xavier Woods.
TLC Match: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
JT: Holy hell this is going to be brutal! Can't wait to see it! I don't want wrestling; I want destruction! Ambrose stands tall at the end regardless of who actually wins. I really feel we all get to win when we have the privilege of witnessing this war.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos vs. The Miz and Damien Mizdow
JT: Miz and Mizdow are certainly a good comedy act, but beyond that they are also both very good wrestlers. I'm going to like this match, and I'm hoping it will get between 12-18 minutes to really shine. The comedy duo retains!
Chairs Match: Kane vs. Ryback
JT: I hope they kill each other. Literally. Ryback is the obvious pick unless someone gets involved for his next feud. Kane was great and has been a part of some of the most memorable moments in WWE history, but it's time for someone to step up and steal his spot as Mr. Reliability.
Steel Stairs Match: Erick Rowan vs. The Big Show
JT: The steel steps become steel stairs as captain boring Big Show takes on the rising talent in Erick Rowan. I'd book Rowan to win, but I honestly don't care about the match overall. It should be brutal if nothing else.
Ladder & WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler
JT: This is the show stealer. These guys will leave us jaw-dropped if they are given more than 15 minutes. Could be a classic, but somehow I can see WWE taking it from us. Ziggler wins BACK the IC Title here to close out 2014 with another memorable victory. Some will complain about Harper not having a long enough run, but I don't see how you can book Dolph to lose with his current momentum.
United States Championship Match: Rusev vs. Jack Swagger
JT: Seen it too much before. Won't be bad, but won't be worth talking about tomorrow either. Rusev retains unless WWE wants to show us that "anything can happen" even when you don't expect it.
Divas Championship Match: Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee
JT: Despite her talk of being Divas Champion for 20+ years on Smackdown this week, AJ Lee seems like she's all but out the door. I don't care about the feud or the match. I guess Nikki keeps the gold.
Tables Match: John Cena vs. Seth Rollins
JT: I want this match to deliver. I think these two guys CAN deliver. I don't know if they will. Cena's good at surprising us, and Rollins is loaded with surprises in his arsenal. I'm cautiously optimistic that we might be talking about this match in a positive way once the show is over.
I'm not going to compare this to NXT TakeOver. It's simply not fair. Hunter appears to be in charge of NXT and clearly whoever is producing the developmental brand has a much more firm grasp on what the fans want(as opposed to Vince and his randomly ridiculous booking). It should be an enjoyable show overall.
