The WWE Intro merges into the NXT Intro and Josh Mathews welcomes us to the show, who dubbs NXT as the ‘breeding ground for future WrestleMania headliners.’ Mathews sends it up to Matt Striker in the ring. Striker welcomes the crowd to the show and says that have been some problems with the talent backstage due to how NXT has been run lately. Striker says that in order to appease them, he has guaranteed every NXT talent will have a match tonight. Striker announces that the main event will be a rematch from last week as The Uso Brothers face the team Striker calls ‘obnoxious’, Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. Striker then kicks things off with our first match.
Derrick Bateman is out first, high fiving some fans while Josh Mathews and William Regal discuss the women of the show being drawn to Bateman. Heath Slater is out as Bateman’s opponent and this match was made as a result of the confrontation between the two last week. The two look for a lock up but Slater kicks Bateman in the midsection and hits a few shots before running off the ropes. Bateman nails him with a dropkick to take control and delivers a few chops while holding onto the arm of Slater. Bateman whips Slater off the ropes and hits a nice clothesline. Bateman works on Slater in the corner and whips him to the opposite side. Bateman charges with a running knee strike but Slater moves and Bateman hits the top turnbuckle hard. Slater takes control and really slows the match down with a sleeper. Bateman tries to break free but runs into a leaping side kick. Slater can’t keep Bateman down and applies another sleeper. Bateman this time rams Slater into the corner and flips him across his back. Bateman hits a clothesline and a forearm strike as Slater heads to the corner. Bateman hits a running clothesline on Slater in the corner. Bateman counters a whip and hits a reverse STO, followed by a somersault neckbreaker. Bateman gets a two but Slater is able to kick out. Bateman goes for a suplex but Slater lands on his feet and tosses Bateman into the corner. Slater runs off the ropes and hits a running sleeper neckbreaker for the three count. Slater has the referee raise his hand and he plays his air guitar as highlights are shown. Afterwards, Bateman walks to the back holding his head but looking back at Slater as we take our first break.
We’re back and Titus O’Neil is on commentary for the next match, sitting next to William Regal. O’Neil says that he is the ‘Big Dog’ as Percy Watson comes out for the next match. Darren Young is out as Watson’s opponent and O’Neil says that he has gained a lot of respect for Young as the two have been on NXT from the beginning of the season. The two begin the match with a feeling out period before Young applies a side headlock. Watson breaks free and Young goes for a sunset flip but Watson rolls through. Watson kicks Young in the head and covers for a one count. Watson takes control whipping Young out of a corner and hitting a side slam. Watson lifts Young’s legs up and stomps on his chest before leaping over and dropping a leg. Young escapes the ring heading to the floor and Watson runs off the ropes, going for a baseball slide. Young lifts up the ring apron and traps Watson. Young hammers away and hits a legdrop off the apron on Watson. Young hits a neckbreaker on Watson but can’t keep him down so he applies a bodyscissors. Watson hits both of Young’s legs to break free and forces him into a corner. Watson goes for a whip but Young reverses it and charges. Watson side steps it and Young crashes into the corner, falling to the mat. Watson hits a flying clothesline on Young followed by a dropkick and a butterfly suplex. Watson hits the Showtime Splash but Young kicks out and heads to the ropes. Watson grabs Young but Young elbows him in the jaw. Watson maintains control, lifting Young onto his shoulders and hitting his version of the F5. Watson covers and picks up the three. O’Neil takes his headset off and sarcastically claps for Watson as he takes a microphone. O’Neil asks Watson if he thinks he’s going to attack him. O’Neil says that when he attacks Watson, he won’t see it coming. O’Neil leaves, smiling at Watson who chalenges him from the ring.
Kaitlyn is stretching backstage but stands up as Johnny Curtis is right behind her. Curtis asks if she’s getting ready for her match with Maxine tonight and says that everyone on NXT has a match except for him. Kaitlyn asks him why he’s not wearing a shirt and that he’s not even on NXT anymore. Kaitlyn says Bateman chose Maxine but Curtis says it will never last because Maxine told him that Bateman would also talk about Kaitlyn and her hair, her skin and even the way she chewed her gum. Curtis walks off and Kaitlyn dismisses the notion but looks a bit intrigued.
A graphic airs hyping the main event between The Uso Brothers and Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks but up next, Trent Barreta faces Tyson Kidd after another break.
We’re back and Trent Barreta is out for the thrid match of the evening. Barreta high fives a few fans before sliding into the ring. Tyson Kidd is out next and he does much the same, high fiving the fans on the way down and flipping over the top rope. Kidd claps his hands to the fans and the bell rings. Kidd goes around Barreta and applies a headlock. Barreta forces him off the ropes and the two show off an arrange of leapfrogs as Kidd rolls over Barreta and hits a running back elbow. Kidd applies an armbar and Barreta gets to his feet. Barreta forces Kidd into the ropes but he hangs on and nails Barreta. Kidd floats over the top and lands on the apron but Barreta knocks him off and goes after Kidd. Kidd hits a sharp kick to the leg of Barreta but Barreta stuns Kidd with a shot and jumps onto the ring barricade. Barreta hits a Whisper in the Wind off the barricade. Barreta just catches Kidd but hits his head on the floor. The referee slowly starts the count before leaving the ring and checking on the two. Kidd manages to get up first and he throws Barreta in. Kidd heads to the top but jumps into a dropkick from Barreta. Kidd heads to a corner and Barreta hits an elbow avalanche and runs off the ropes. Kidd stops him with a spin kick to the midsection and another kick to the face as Barreta heads to a corner. Kidd charges but Barreta hits him with a double boot and drops it across the chest of Kidd. Kidd gets to his feet and Barreta goes for his running knee strike but Kidd counters it and goes for the Sharpshooter. Barreta counters and rolls through for a two count. Kidd retakes control with a jumping spin kick to the head. Kidd follows that up with a beautiful German suplex. Kidd covers Barreta but only gets a two and Kidd appears to have busted his nose. Kidd lifts Barreta up and places him on the top rope. Kidd heads up behind him and goes for a belly to back suplex but Barreta counters it and lands on top of Kidd. Both men are down but Barreta gets up first, hitting a neckbreaker and slowly heading to the top rope himself. Barreta hits a missile dropkick and covers Kidd for a nearfall. Barreta lifts Kidd up but Kidd hits a spin kick to the midsection. Kidd runs off the ropes and goes for a sunset flip but Barreta kneels down on him in a pin attempt. Kidd somehow rolls through that and has a pin on Barreta, picking up the three. The fans cheer for Kidd and he takes a few moments to celebrate the win. Kidd walks over to Barreta and extends a hand as the two quickly share a quick shake. Kidd leaves as highlights of the match are shown. Kidd continues to soak in the win on the outside as Barreta stays in the ring disappointed. William Regal continues to shower the two with high praise, saying that there is nothing more anyone can ask from these two.
Derrick Bateman is walking in the back and Kaitlyn stops him. Bateman says he’s a little upset that he lost to a man that he got the crowd to chant ‘loser’ at last week but it happens. Kaitlyn says that on the bright side he’s a winner because he has a great head of hair. Bateman says that does make him a winner and asks if she has a piece of gum as Maxine walks in. Maxine bumps Kaitlyn out of the way and asks Bateman what happened. He says he lost and Maxine tells Bateman that they can’t get off of NXT if he keeps losing. Kaitlyn tells Maxine to stay supportive and she turns her attention to her. Maxine tells Kaitlyn to stay out of her business and Kaitlyn asks Bateman if he kisses her mouth. Bateman holds Maxine back and Kaitlyn walks off. Bateman tells Maxine to act like an adult for once and Maxine screams at him before making fun of his ‘She Devil’ shirt. The two walk off and Johnny Curtis walks from behind a wall in the back, smiling at the scene unfolding. Mathews says that Kaitlyn faces Maxine next.
We’re back and Maxine is out for the fourth match of the evening. Regal asks Mathews about Johnny Curtis and the two agree that his is very creepy. Kaitlyn is her opponent and Mathews wonders if Kaitlyn is in fact interested in Bateman as the bell rings. Maxine takes Kaitlyn down and drives her knee on her face. William Regal recites a really long quote from Maxine during the first few seconds of the match. Kaitlyn shoves Maxine down and Kaitlyn hits a side slam before applying a unique armbar type submission as Regal finally finishes off the amazing quote, so amazing since he talked as fast as ayone could and didn’t miss a word. Maxine breaks free and tries to get a quick pin but Kaitlyn breaks free. Kaitlyn hits a big scoop slam on Maxine and drops a leg and an elbow for a two count. Maxine fights back with a shot to the stomach and a knee to the face. Maxine takes Kaitlyn down and gets a two. Maxine covers her again with the same result. Kaitlyn shoves Maxine down and covers her a two as well but Maxine regain control. Maxine applies a Dragon sleeper and slaps the chest of Kaitlyn while she has the hold on. Kaitlyn hits a jawbreaker to get out of it but Maxine stays in control, mounting Kaitlyn in a corner. Kaitlyn shoves Maxine to the mat and hits a shoulder tackle followed by a dropkick. Kaitlyn hits a low crossbody on Maxine and picks up a two count. Maxine gets a quick shot in and goes for a crucifix but Kaitlyn stays on her feet. Maxine finally gets Kaitlyn over and pins her for the three. Maxine rolls out of the ring as Kaitlyn is stunned. Maxine shows a small smile and walks to the back as a graphic airs for the main event between The Uso Brothers and Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks and that match is next.
William Regal and Josh Mathews briefly discuss the Elimination Chamber pay per view in two weeks and how the winners will headline WrestleMania. In the back, Trent Barreta is taking off his boots as Tyson Kidd approaches him. Kidd tells Barreta that he wants to talk about their match. Barreta says that he gets it and that Kidd won but Kidd stops him and says that everytime they wrestle, he takes him to the limit and that somewhere along the line he earned his respect. Kidd says that he thinks the two of them can be a great tag team and Barreta asks if he is serious. Kidd says that he is dead serious and tells Barreta to think about it as he leaves as Barreta shows no real interest.
The Usos appear on stage, ready for the main event and perform the Siva Tau. The Usos play to the crowd in the ring and Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins are out next. The two demanded the match and Regal says that they cornered him earlier and did nothing but complain that they are getting a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship. Hawkins and Jey start things off and Hawkins hits a drop toe hold followed by an armbar. Jey sends him off the ropes but Hawkins hits a shoulder block and continues to run. Jey finally gets Hawkins hitting a Northern Light suplex for a two and tagsin Jimmy. Jey holds Hawkins open and Jimmy hits a headbutt to the ribs. Hawkins quickly heads to his corner and tags in Reks. Reks applies a hammerlock but Jimmy breaks free with a headlock and Jey tags in. Jimmy sends Reks off the ropes and the two hit a double back elbow and a double elbow drop. Jey works on Reks a little more and tags in Jimmy. Reks manages to tag in Hawkins, who runs into an armbar. Hawkins heads to the outside after a few moments and Jey heads in, dropping to his hands and knees. Jimmy springboards off of Jey’s back, lands on the top rope and hits a dive onto Hawkins on the outside. Jimmy throws Hawkins in and follows him but Hawkins again heads to the outside. Jimmy reaches for Hawkins but Reks comes over and hits a big kick to the head as we take our final break.
We’re back and Reks has Jey in a quarter nelson. Jey fights to his feet but Reks keeps control, lifting Jey up and dropping him on the top turnbuckle. Hawkins tags in and taunts Jey and drops a few shots including a suplex before tagging Reks back in. Reks hammers away on Jey and quickly tags Hawkins back in, who applies a reverse chinlock. Jey fights out of it and is sent to a corner. Hawkins charges but Jey puts his elbow up. Hawkins hits a Pele like kick and drags Jey to his corner. Reks tags back in and applies a chinlock as Jey tries to get to Jimmy. Reks pulls him back and tags Hawkins into the ring. Hawkins applies a sleeper and Jimmy fires up the crowd. Jey fights to his feet and Hawkins breaks the hold. Hawkins runs off the rope but Jey hits him with a corkscrew forearm and both are down. Reks tags in as does Jimmy and Jimmy drops Reks with consecutive clotheslines. Jimmy nails Hawkins with a right hand and gives Reks a Samoan Drop. Jimmy charges at Reks and hits a running back splash before getting a two after Hawkins breaks the count. Jey steps in and ducks a shot from Hawkins. The Usos hit a double hip toss on Hawkins, who collides into Reks in a corner. Jey goes for a plancha onto Hawkins on the outside but he misses. Jimmy heads to the top and jumps over Reks but goes for the superkick. Reks counters and goes for the Burning Hammer. Jimmy breaks free and rolls Reks up for a two. The force of the kickout sends Jimmy to the ropes where Hawkins jabs him in the midsection with his cane. Reks rolls Jimmy up and grabs the tights for the three. Reks and Hawkins celebrate the win as Matt Striker runs into the ring and tells the referee that Hawkins used a weapon. Hawkins nails Striker with a right hand which draws Jimmy and Jey back in. Hawkins and Reks leave as The Usos check on Striker. Regal says that action like that won’t help their cause as you should not lay your hands on a WWE official and Striker is the official on NXT. Hawkins and Reks taunt Striker who looks back at them as the show comes to a close.
