We open immediately with the finals of the WWE title tournament.

1. WWE tournament final: Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz.

Michael Cole, predictably, was openly cheering for the Miz, coloring his commentary, so Jerry Lawler decided to balance things by rooting for Mysterio. 15 years ago, it'd have been the other way around. Miz was aggressive from the start, going for pins immediately. I lost track of how many near falls Miz scored. Anyway, Rey would rally, only for Miz to cut him down. However, with Rey on the tree of woe, Miz went for a corner charge, but tweaked his injured knee. Cole started whining. Rey with a headscissor into the 619, then the missile splash. Winner & new champion: Rey Mysterio.

Post-match, Mysterio celebrated, but was blindsided by a limping Miz, who was led away by ref Mike Chioda. Alberto Del Rio saw this as an opportunity to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, but in the time it took for him to try to get the match started, Mysterio hit a plancha on the floor, and so, Del Rio must wait, but for how long?

Backstage, Rey gets a champagne bath, and a handshake from John Cena before being interviewed by Josh Mathews. It's all about sacrifice for Rey, who, when you count his 2 World titles, is now a 3-time champion.

2. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero) vs. Evan Bourne.

Even match, but way short. Bourne went for the shooting star, but Ziggler dodged that, hit the Zig Zag, then slapped on the sleeper for good measure. Winner: Dolph Ziggler.

Post-match, Ziggler challenged the locker room to "follow that". Not a problem.

Earlier tonight, Eve Torres was complaining again about the Bella Twins' illegal substitutions. Keystone Beer pitchman Keith Stone, who was pals with the Bellas at Capitol Punishment last month, took a magic marker and drew a tattoo on Nikki. The twins decided to leave, meaning they won't be in the next match......

3. Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly vs. Melina & Maryse.

Well, I guess the Bellas knew their night would only get worse if they stuck around. Eve was the face in peril, but after a tag to Kelly, the momentum shifted the other way. Maryse had used the stinkface on Eve, so Kelly threw it right back by doing Maryse's hair flip. She spanked both heels, then finished Melina with the K2. Winners: Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly.

R-Truth is seen backstage chatting with Triple H about something, but the Game will make what is supposed to be the State of the WWE speech......next.

Not much to be said, really. Hunter put over Vince McMahon as a genius, then put over Mysterio's title win. He then brought back Jim Ross, which made Cole upset, to the point where Cole stood on the desk and cut a promo on Ross. Cole was given the rest of the night off from commentary, but will be in action in the next match. Truth then came out, only for HHH to mock the deterioration of his gimmick. Truth said HHH was part of the conspiracy against him. Some might agree. Both men began pretending to talk to people that weren't there. John Morrison returned, resuming his program with Truth.

4. Michael Cole vs. Zack Ryder.

Cole came out to Triple H's other theme, "King of Kings", wearing some of the former champ's gear, then got squashed. One Ruff Ryder was all Long Island Iced Z needed. Winner: Zack Ryder.

5. Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio.

Return from last week. Ricardo Rodriguez returned last week as well. He should be George Lopez's announcer. Whatever. Ziggler wanted someone to top him? Well, Kofi & Del Rio delivered. Would've been the best match on the show save for the main event. Kofi injured his left arm, giving Del Rio an easy target, but winning wouldn't be easy. Kofi reversed a sunset flip for 2 before Del Rio forced a rope break. Del Rio hot shotted the arm on the rope, then went to the cross-armbreaker. Winner: Alberto Del Rio.

The Miz was interviewed by Josh Mathews. Miz claimed things would get worse now that Triple H was in charge. Yeah, right. Hunter, by the way, is billed as Chief Operating Officer. I guess Vince doesn't want to give up the title of Chairman.

6. WWE title: Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena.

Match of the night. Fans were cheering for both, though some were booing Cena for a while. Cena injured his left leg, which made it difficult for him to hit the Attitude Adjustment, as his leg "gave out", giving Rey a near fall. However, on the 3rd try, after Rey had already hit the 619, and had a missile splash blocked, Cena finally connected to wrap up title #9. Winner & new champion: John Cena.

Cena helped Rey up and raised his arm after in a show of respect & sportsmanship. But as he soaks up the moment, Cena's reverie is interrupted as Living Colour's "Cult of Personality" erupts. Yup, CM Punk is back already. The two meet in center ring to end the show, each holding a belt of their own, but who's the real champion?!
