Detailed Results
The inscription bearing today's date, 2-21-11, now has a countdown clock. That means it will all be revealed in the 2nd half of the show.

The program proper begins with John Cena, who answers the Rock's promo from last week by busting out his first freestyle rap on Raw in nearly 5 years, referencing several of Rock's movies, including "Race to Witch Mountain", "Get Shorty", "Game Plan", "Walking Tall", & "The Tooth Fairy". Funny stuff.

1. CM Punk vs. John Morrison.

Last night, neither one of these two came out of the Eliminatin Chamber at 100%. We'll soon see if this has any effect on a match that by all rights should remind us of their classic feud over the ECW title in '07, when the roles were reversed.

As it turns out, Morrison was the worse for wear, and it shows. Punk dominated the match virtually from the get go, and applied a variant on the El Paso Lasso before Morrison forced a rope break. Morrison went for his knee strike (which the media claims is the Shining Wizard, but it isn't), but Punk blocked with a double kick to the injured knee, then put Morrison to sleep. Winner: CM Punk.

Post-match, Punk cut a promo on Randy Orton to continue their issue. He was going to give his Nexus team the night off, but warned Orton not to be at Raw next week. Of course, Orton showed up and chased Punk away, as Nexus came down the ramp.

Worth noting: Josh Mathews is on color commentary, subbing for Jerry Lawler, whom Michael Cole will interview later, and Scott Armstrong is back on the referees' roster, having worked the above match.

Alberto Del Rio is scheduled next, but is ambushed by Kofi Kingston, whom Del Rio beat last night. A timely cheap shot from Ricardo Rodriguez enables Del Rio to gain the advantage, and Kofi is laid out again!

Now, it is the Miz's turn to answer the Rock. The champion cut a promo on both Rock & John Cena, mocking both, but only to have the GM weigh in and announce that Miz will team with Cena against the now-2-time tag team champs, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, in the Corre team's 1st title defense later tonight. There's an implosion coming........

2. Eve Torres & Gail Kim vs. the Bella Twins.

No entrances for either team, due to a promo for the new WWE All-Stars video game. The twins worked over Gail until she tagged in Eve. Standing moonsault gets two before Eve checks Brie in the corner. Nikki with a cheap shot to Gail to draw the former champion in, allowing for some "twin magic" and Brie to pin the champ. Winners: The Bella Twins.

The countdown clock has reached zero, and the music of Johnny Cash begins playing as we see the Undertaker emerge from the cabin. Thanks to the magic of videotape, the Dead Man is in Fresno, and as he makes his way to center ring, another cherished icon makes his return as well------Triple H.

They are two of the last superstars to come out of the "Attitude Era" of the 90's, and it has been a long time since these two have clashed. We have a staredown, and then both glance at the Wrestlemania logo in the rafters. Taker seems to know exactly what Triple H wants, but stifles a chuckle. He starts to walk away, but then turns and gives Hunter the sign of the tombstone. Helmsley answers with a DX crotch chop. Apparently, the rumors are true, and these two will meet at Wrestlemania, 10 years after their epic showdown on the big stage.

3. King Sheamus vs. Mark Henry.

Sheamus may not be at 100% coming out of the Elimination Chamber, but Henry is as fresh as a newborn child. Sheamus gets an early advantage with a chop block, a slingshot shoulder block for 2, and a Celtic Hammer for 2. However, late in the match, Sheamus makes a critical, if not royal, blunder. Bracing for the Brogue Kick, Sheamus changes his mind and decides to expose a turnbuckle. Bad idea, as Henry splashes Sheamus into said corner, then hits the World's Strongest Slam. Winner: Mark Henry.

With the Elimination Chamber PPV behind us, it's now time to see who joins Shawn Michaels in this year's class.

Surprisingly, my home state of New York will be represented, as Glens Falls native Hacksaw Jim Duggan goes into the Hall, inducted by rival and real-life long-time friend, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, whose friendship with Duggan dates all the way back to Mid-South Wrestling in the early 80's.

Michael Cole cuts a promo claiming to be a better announcer than Jim Ross, Gorilla Monsoon, & Gordon Solie, as he prepares to interview Jerry Lawler. The King, of course, has worked with Ross, Monsoon, & Vince McMahon over the course of his 18 years with WWE. For Cole to put himself ahead of 4 Hall of Famers is ridiculous by itself. His questions, however, suggest nothing more than a former radio newsman taunting his regular broadcast partner. Lawler won't answer any questions until Cole brings up his mother, who passed away 8 days ago.

Lawler throws down the challenge to Cole for Wrestlemania. Cole runs away after Lawler chases him away from the broadcast table.

4. WWE tag titles: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel (w/Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson) vs. The Miz (w/Alex Riley) & John Cena.

Cena might as well be in a handicap match, teamed with the selfish Miz. As noted earlier, Slater & Gabriel regained the gold last night, defeating Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, the same team that ended their first run a couple of months back.

With Cole gone, Lawler replaces him at the desk.

Here's another surprise. Miz & Cena, who have 6 tag team titles between them, pull off a stunning upset. Slater & Gabriel were squashed like a couple of bugs. Slater started against Miz. If I recall correctly, these two had a go on NXT a year ago. Slater gets no offense in at all, and Gabriel fares no better. Cena is only in for a brief bit, then tags back to the Miz, who hits the wraparound lariat in the corner, then the Skull Crushing Finale. Winners: The Miz & John Cena.

As Miz & Cena celebrate separately, the Corre huddle at ringside, and Wade Barrett, the team captain, announces that Slater & Gabriel will invoke their rematch clause right away. The GM, through Josh, agrees.

5. WWE tag titles: The Miz & John Cena vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel.

Whatever Wade Barrett said in that huddle must've worked, because Slater & Gabriel have a renewed sense of energy & purpose, as they worked over Miz. With Miz on the floor, Barrett & Jackson held off Alex Riley, who apparently was really in no hurry to do anything. Hot tag to Cena, who cleans house. After a 5 Knuckle Shuffle, however, Miz turned on Cena as Cena had Slater up for an Attitude Adjustment. The resulting Skull Crushing Finale allows Slater to roll over and regain the titles. Winners: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel.
