1. Sheamus def. Mark Henry.
2. Non-title: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston def. Primo & Epico Colon when Kingston pinned Primo.
3. David Otunga def. Ezekiel Jackson.
4. Non-title: Daniel Bryan def. Santino Marella.
5. The Bella Twins def. Kelly Kelly & Aksana when Nikki, after an illegal switch, pinned Aksana.
6. Chris Jericho won a #1 contender's battle royal, earning a title match vs. CM Punk at Wrestlemania.
After a recap of the John Cena-Kane feud leading into Elimination Chamber, we open backstage to find Eve Torres yakking with the Bella Twins. Turns out Eve has turned heel, and used Zack Ryder's emotions to win his trust, and now, she intends to do the same with John Cena. One problem. Cena is right there, listening to every word, just like Zack caught them kissing last week. Eve is BUSTED!
Cena heads to the ring to cut a promo, but Eve follows him, trying to apologize. Instead, Cena just rips her a new one, calling her a "hoeski", coining a new word for Twitter. Eve suffered a nervous breakdown, then tried to kiss Cena again, but John would have none of that. Refs John Cone & Mike Chioda led Eve out of the arena.
1. Sheamus vs. Mark Henry.
Henry has been activated from the DL, with the storyline explanation being that John Laurinaitis called him into work, nearly 3 weeks after he'd been "suspended" by Teddy Long, continuing that angle. Henry dominated early, and avoided the Brogue Kick. However, he couldn't hit the World's Strongest Slam, as Sheamus escaped and hit the Brogue Kick. Winner: Sheamus.
An Undertaker video played. He will confront Triple H later.
2. Non-title: Primo & Epico Colon (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. R-Truth & Kofi Kingston.
Kofi & Truth are selling the effects of the Elimination Chamber match. The tag champs got a night off last night, which is lame when you think about it. Primo went for the backstabber, but Kofi got out of that and hit Trouble in Paradise, getting right back into the tag title hunt. Winners: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston.
Backstage, John Laurinaitis & David Otunga have a visitor, Smackdown GM Teddy Long. Laurinaitis is trying to lie his way out of his aspirations for taking control of Smackdown. Long, though, believes one man can run both shows, so I guess we'll get some sort of match at Wrestlemania to reach that point. A 10 man battle royal is announced for later, as well as Otunga, representing Raw, vs. a Smackdown wrestler of Long's choosing.
3. David Otunga (w/John Laurinaitis) vs. Ezekiel Jackson (w/Teddy Long).
On paper, you'd think this would favor the bigger, stronger Jackson. However, the former IC champ has had some bad luck of late, as he has been depushed. Otunga hit a spinebuster out of nowhere to end it. Winner: David Otunga.
Ron Simmons, who won a few tag titles as 1/2 of the APA and was the first African-American World champion 20 years ago, is the latest entry into the WWE Hall of Fame. Certainly deserves it, and it makes up for not being inducted a couple of years ago when they were in Atlanta.
Undertaker is out and cuts a promo about spending the past year dealing with uncertainty. He calls out Triple H, asking for the same thing Shawn Michaels did last week. The Game complies, but at first, his answer remains the same. It takes a great deal of goading, catering to the ego of the COO, to finally get HHH to capitulate, albeit on one condition----HELL IN A CELL!!!!
Chris Jericho was interviewed, and confirmed what was speculated, that he believes he has a legitimate claim to the title since he was "technically" eliminated. I think they just telegraphed the main event, don't you?
4. Non-title: Daniel Bryan vs. Santino Marella.
They were the last two in the Smackdown chamber, and you'd think that they'd stop using Santino as a comedy act, but that was not to be. Instead, he was squashed quickly, tapping to the LeBell Lock for the 2nd time in just under 24 hours. Winner: Daniel Bryan.
5. The Bella Twins vs. Kelly Kelly & Aksana.
It all fell apart after the rookie, Aksana, tagged in. Nikki never tagged in, yet got the pin after an X-Factor faceplant. Winners: The Bella Twins.
Cena got his promo in after all. He ripped a few new ones for the Rock, and coined another word, "mangina", in reference to Rock's crack about his supposed "lady parts". Rock will be at Raw next week, so the explosion will be epic......
6. #1 contender's battle royal for the WWE title: The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston vs. R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho vs. Wade Barrett vs. Big Show vs. Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Great Khali.
CM Punk came out to do color, wearing a mustard colored sportcoat. As much as Teddy Long pwned Otunga & Laurinaitis earlier, Punk did the same with Michael Cole, which is too easy. Khali was the first one to go, before the final commercial. The final four were Marella, Rhodes, Big Show, & Jericho. Naturally, Santino, who came out selling his right arm after the LeBell Lock, got tossed by Rhodes. Show dumped Rhodes, who refused to leave, so it looks like they'll have a program between those two. Rhodes then helped Jericho eliminate Show, which shouldn't count. Winner: Chris Jericho.
Punk left the desk and offered a handshake. Jericho refused. What a shock.
