We open with GM John Laurinaitis, who introduces Brock Lesnar. Despite the fact that Lesnar lost to John Cena last night at Extreme Rules, Lesnar is still considered the face of the company, and he got one of his diva-like demands met when they created a temporary title graphic with his name in the title.

Lesnar's promo is interrupted as Triple H is back after 4 weeks off. He didn't approve of the deal made last week between Lesnar & Laurinaitis, and he has no intention to do so. Laurinaitis distracts the COO long enough for Lesnar to attack, and it was brutal. Lesnar applied a Kimura armlock and "broke the arm" of the Cerebral Assassin. Big Show, R-Truth, Sheamus, & Kofi Kingston ran in to make the save, and Lesnar left.

Eve Torres comes out, now sporting glasses. If she's trying to look like Lynda Carter, circa "Wonder Woman", it ain't working unless she can cut some of her hair. Seriously. Eve announces the Beat The Clock challenge. The man with the fastest time will advance to face CM Punk at Over the Limit on May 20.

1. Non-title: Santino Marella vs. The Miz.

Last night, on YouTube, Marella retained the US title beating Miz. Tonight, the title isn't on the line, and that means Miz, a 2-time US champ, has a chance to even the score. Miz debuted a modified Side Effect for 2. Santino came back but could not get the Cobra to strike. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale to end it. Winner: The Miz.

The time to beat: 4:18.

2. Divas title: Layla El vs. The Bella Twins.

It's billed as a triple threat for Layla's 1st title defense. She was a surprise return at Extreme Rules, replacing the injured Beth Phoenix, and that ended Nikki's reign at 6 days. This ends up being the twins' last match. Layla needed just 2 moves. A dropkick causes a collision between the feuding sisters, knocking one out of the ring, while the other gets schoolgirled for the pin. Winner: Layla El.

We would later learn that the twins were fired (their contract has expired).

3. Beat the Clock: Chris Jericho vs. The Big Show.

After losing the IC title on a technicality to Cody Rhodes, Big Show wants to get back on track. Jericho may be getting his last chance at the title before going on tour with Fozzy for the summer. Jericho tried the Walls, but couldn't turn the colossus over. Code Breaker is blocked, and both men go tumbling over the top. Jericho dodges a rush at the barricade, and Show falls over. Jericho beat the count, but not the clock, as time runs out on him just as ref Justin King counts out Big Show. Winner: Chris Jericho.

4. Brodus Clay (w/Naomi & Cameron) vs. JTG.

Squash #2. Jerry Lawler said he interviewed JTG earlier and the Brooklyn native claimed he had a surprise for Clay. Yeah, right. The only surprise was he lasted as long as he did. Someone needs to call JTG's momma. They need a spatula for him. Winner: Brodus Clay.

5. Beat the Clock: Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero).

I should point out that for the first time, they are emphasizing that it doesn't matter who wins, it's whomever gets the fastest time, which is why they've gone with more competitive matchups in this tournament. Any other night, Orton & Swagger would be guaranteed to go at least 10 minutes. Tonight, it's in the 4:00 range, and they cram as much as they can in that time frame. Swagger missed the running Vaderbomb, and eats an RKO. Orton scores the pin with 2 seconds left. Winner: Randy Orton.

The time to beat: 4:16.

6 WWE tag titles: Primo & Epico Colon (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. R-Truth & Kofi Kingston.

The cousins have gotten into some bad luck the last two weeks, but, as Michael Cole is quick to point out, they've gotten it done when the gold is at stake. Best match on the show. They got heat on Truth for much of the match, but Kofi gets the hot tag, and cleans house. Epico tries to take a shortcut, and Kingston cuts him off. Rosa gets on the apron, but it backfires, as Truth hot shots Primo right into Trouble in Paradise, and we have new champs. Winners: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston.

For Kofi, it's his 3rd tag title, with as many partners (Truth, Evan Bourne, & CM Punk). First one for Truth at last.

Backstage, the ex-champs are squabbling in Spanish, and Rosa is ready to talk to A. W. (Abraham Washington). Unfortunately, time constraints have pushed this angle to next week.

7. Beat the Clock: Kane vs. Great Khali.

As Cole & Lawler point out, these two aren't meant for this kind of competition. Well, Khali isn't, but Kane is a veteran of these tournaments. Nice of them to give away the result. Both men are attempting chokeslams as time runs out. Result: Draw.

8. Beat the Clock: Jerry Lawler vs. Daniel Bryan.

1st ever matchup between the former World champ and The King, who is a surprise entrant. Cole's soloing for the rest of the night. Lawler was able to hang with the younger Bryan, and hit the fistdrop for 2. However, Bryan reverses a piledriver, then applies the Yeslock, and Lawler taps. Winner: Daniel Bryan. Time: 2:21.

Earlier, Eve tried to calm Laurinaitis down, and had to send Teddy Long, just standing around, away. Laurinaitis will pick John Cena's opponent for Over the Limit.......

Cena is out, with his left arm in a sling. Noting HHH's injury, Cena admits he nearly got the same thing. There is a difference between being injured and just being hurt, according to Cena. If you're injured, they send you home. If you're hurt, and Cena simply has some strained muscles, you forge ahead. Laurinaitis comes back out, and brings out Lord Tensai & Sakamoto, teasing a rematch from a couple of weeks back. However, the GM makes it a 3-on-1 assault, and reveals it'll be himself vs. Cena at Over the Limit! Tired of the insults, and Cena reamed him pretty good, Laurinaitis has snapped. He knows now his days as GM are numbered, as if that wasn't already considered........
