We open tonight with GM Teddy Long, who acknowledges the blown call made by ref Mike Chioda in the World title match at Capitol Punishment. He calls Christian out to the ring. Christian, of course, is pleading for another shot. Long story short (pardon the pun), Christian will get one more chance-----provided he gets by Kane!!!

1. Sin Cara vs. Ted DiBiase.

Michael Cole confirmed that Cara will face Evan Bourne on Raw on Monday, a match that should've taken place, but didn't because of a tech glitch in the voting. Cool spot of the match came when DiBiase intercepted Cara's attempt at a springboard move with a picture perfect dropkick, catching Cara in mid-air for a 2. However, that would be the closest DiBiase would come to a win. Cara finished him with a satellite headscissor dropped into a bulldog. Ouch! Winner: Sin Cara.

2. Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan.

Return match from Raw. 3rd singles match between these two. Bryan won the first two. Rhodes cut a promo denigrading DiBiase's efforts vs. Sin Cara as "embarassing". Oh, please. Smells like the slow build for a DiBiase face turn is starting again. Bryan came out, mic in hand, and cut a counter-promo putting over Cody's dad, Dusty, as making up for his lack of good looks with charisma. So true. They got over that Cody is everything his father isn't, although Dusty hasn't been afraid to help Cody in the past.

Midway, DiBiase returns, having recovered from his loss. He gets involved, and pays for it when Bryan takes him out with a suicide dive. Bryan tried to hit a Pele kick, but didn't quite connect, as Rhodes was out of position. Huracanrana scores a near fall. Rhodes caught Bryan coming back in after the suicide dive with a Passion Kick (formerly Beautiful Disaster), but Bryan was caught in the ropes. Ref Chad Patten had a time trying to free Bryan, but once he did, Rhodes hit a 2nd Passion Kick to set up Cross Rhodes. Winner: Cody Rhodes.

Post-match, Bryan got the paper bag treatment again.

Big Show interview. The colossus tells Matt Striker that Mark Henry was in the wrong place at the wrong time last week. Footage of Henry's rampage since then is shown. No sooner is that vidpack done than Show is done, too, as Henry rams him through the backdrop. Henry tries bullying ref James "Nunzio" Maritato, then leaves.

3. Intercontinental title: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Wade Barrett.

Jackson defeated Barrett at Capitol Punishment, so Barrett decides to ambush Jackson before the bell. However, once they get in the ring, it's just a matter of time before the match officially begins. Barrett maintains the advantage, hitting a Black Hole Slam for 2. Jackson recovers and goes on offense. A modified Book of Ezekiel gets him some breathing room. Barrett attempts Wasteland, but Jackson squirts out and locks Barrett in the torture rack. Barrett taps for the 2nd time in a week. Winner: Ezekiel Jackson.

Heading back to the locker room, Barrett encounters his former partners, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel, who have a little fun at his expense. The former tag champs tell Barrett to hang back and watch them do something he couldn't---win.

4. The Usos vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel.

Return match from last week. The Usos now do a Polynesian war dance before coming down the ramp. Slater hit a 5-arm on Jey on the floor early on, and Jey was face in peril. Hot tag to Jimmy, who cleans house. Jey gets rid of Gabriel, but then Slater sends Jey to the floor, only to walk into a thrust kick. Jimmy goes up, but Slater blocks the Superfly Splash with his knees and cradles Jimmy to even the score from last week. Winners: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel.

Jack Korpela interviews Randy Orton. The champ admits to laughing inside at Christian's plight, but welcomes another opportunity vs. the bitter, frustrated former champ.

5. Yoshi Tatsu vs. Jinder Mahal (w/Great Khali).

This match never started. Mahal attacked Tatsu immediately, and never let up. He whipped Tatsu right into a brain chop, then hit the full nelson slam. Mahal then cut a promo claiming that "the Eastern winds will blow through the WWE Universe". Last year, Wade Barrett preached of winds of change. Is Mahal stealing Barrett's material?

6. Kane vs. Christian.

For Christian, it's all or nothing. The announcers stressed that Christian had to win or it's back to the drawing board. Very even match between two former champions. Both were growing visibly frustrated as the match wore on. Kane hit the top rope lariat, and was bracing for a chokeslam when Mark Henry ran in. Just what Christian didn't need. Winner: Kane via DQ.

Christian was upset with Henry, but, rather than have Henry turn his anger on him, he directed the world's strongest man back to Kane. The double-team stopped when Teddy Long came back out and made it a tag match, with the same stipulation for Christian. A win, and he gets another title match......

7. Kane & Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry & Christian.

Not much time left, so they'll keep this short, although they could've gone longer any other night. Orton & Christian started, as Kane needed the time to recoup his strength from the last match. Orton is face in peril, obviously, at the start. Kane gets back in, but then takes the same pounding Orton was getting. Hot tag back to Orton, who divides his attention between Henry & Christian, which proves costly. Orton hit the hanging DDT on Christian, who was not the legal man, but was buying time for Henry. Orton avoids the World's Strongest Slam, and Henry whips him right into an RKO on Christian, but Henry comes right back with the WSS to end it. Winners: Mark Henry & Christian.

Ah, but here's where the plot thickens. Christian thinks he's got the title shot all to himself, but does Henry have a case, since he's pinned the champ? You bet he does!
