Detailed Results
After clips are shown from last week's Reaction spotlighting the 4 top contenders for the TNA title, we open the show proper with Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, & Ms. Tessmacher (Brooke Adams). Hulk calls out Mr. Anderson, Pope D'Angelo Dinero, Jeff Hardy, & Kurt Angle. Abyss spoils the party, and everyone's assumptions, when he reveals that the "They" he represents isn't Fourtune, despite Ric Flair's claims to the contrary last week, and it surely isn't EV2.0. However, we go to commercial as Jeff Hardy goes after the man-monster, who has vowed to reveal "They" at Bound For Glory on October 10.

1. The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love) vs. Madison Rayne & ?????.

The brawl starts on the floor, then spills into the ring. Not much in-ring action, however, and we learn that Sky & Rayne will meet in a singles match at No Surrender on Sunday. The masked bodyguard is the difference maker. Never legally tagged in, she cracks Sky in the back with her helmet, enabling Rayne to pick up a cheap pin. After the match, the masked woman finally removes her hood to reveal-----as expected----Tara. Winners: Madison Rayne & Tara.

Backstage, Stevie Richards talks about not being scared to face Abyss, not after what he's dealt with in his life, including 2 broken necks and several throat surgeries.

Reaction Rewind focuses on Abyss.

2. Stevie Richards vs. Abyss.

Richards has been in with some big, bad men in the past, and, as documented previously, he & Abyss feuded earlier this year, when the roles were reversed. One attempt at a Steviekick is blocked, and Abyss crushes Richards in the corner. However, the man-monster makes one critical mistake, and that's going for a chair. Meanwhile, the rest of EV2.0 are brawling with Fourtune in the back, and Mick Foley is checking on his ankle. As Brian Hebner gets the chair away from Abyss, Richards connects with the Steviekick. Winner: Stevie Richards.

There is little time to celebrate, as Richards is ambushed by Abyss post-match, and laid out with a black hole slam. Abyss retrieves Janice, but Brian Kendrick makes the save, and takes Richards back to the locker room.

Dinero & Anderson still don't trust each other. Well, the Pope definitely doesn't like Anderson.......

Jeff Jarrett tries again to ask Samoa Joe for help, but Joe appears to decline. Sting & Kevin Nash are ready, and apparently there's someone else in their new wolfpac. Jarrett is asked why he's doing this. Someone has to.

3. Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting (w/Kevin Nash).

Nash's blatant interference is too much for Jarrett, and ref Mark Johnson does zilch about it. Nash scoops the leg 3 times, the last one leading to Sting scoring the pin. Winner: Sting.

Post-match, Sting & Nash double on Jarrett, but that brings Hulk Hogan back out, with Joe attacking Nash from the blind side.

London Brawling (Desmond Wolfe & Magnus) & Chelsea are in the ring after the break. "Dirty Des" & "Magdaddy" cut promos on the Motor City Machine Guns, which brings the tag champs out. However, the biggest surprise is that Chelsea isn't exactly on even terms with Wolfe or Magnus, and makes a joke about Wolfe's manhood. London Brawling leaves the Guns lying before their match on Sunday.

EV2.0 has to deal with Foley now out of their 4-on-4 elimination tag vs. Fourtune. Kendrick volunteers, and gets Foley's blessing.

Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy talk about RVD, their tag match tonight, and their tournament match on Sunday.....

4. EV2.0 (Rhino, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer) & Brian Kendrick vs. Fourtune (AJ Styles, Beer Money, & Kazarian).

Ric Flair, Matt Morgan, & Douglas Williams are in the corner for their Fourtune brethren to start, and Williams is responsible for Sabu being eliminated by Kazarian. Kendrick took out Kaz with a mere dropkick to even the score, but to show that Kendrick has lost more than a few marbles since moving to TNA from WWE, he dropkicks ref Brian Hebner minutes later, touching off a brawl to take us to commercial. Kendrick is DQd to swing the advantage back to Fourtune. Rhino gores James Storm halfway to Miami, but Robert Roode made the save. Rhino sets up for a gore on Roode, but picks up Abyss coming to ringside and allows himself to be counted out. Abyss & Rhino meet on Sunday, as do Williams & Sabu. Now, it's 3-on-1, but Dreamer manages to pin both members of Beer Money mere seconds apart. It's now down to Dreamer & Styles. Foley made his way to ringside during the brawl, and ends up brawling with Flair. Styles with a eye poke and a Pele kick, and that's it. Winners: Fourtune, 4 falls to 3.

5. Mr. Anderson & Pope D'Angelo Dinero vs. Jeff Hardy & Kurt Angle.

Unfortunately, there's not enough time to let the story develop in this match. The only real issue is Dinero tagging himself in and out, clearly not trusting Anderson on his word. Early on, Angle & Hardy worked as if they'd tagged for years, as Hardy hit the Poetry in Motion, then followed with the Hardyac Arrest (swing kick in the corner) for 2. The tide turns when Hardy hits Angle with the Whisper in the Wind, intended for Anderson, who hits the Mic Check. Dinero is legal, and for the 2nd week in a row, collects the pinfall. Winners: Mr. Anderson & Pope D'Angelo Dinero.

The show ends with both teams imploding, as you'd expect so soon before No Surender.
