From Las Vegas:
1. Kushida vs. Scorpio Sky.
Scorpio Sky first gained national exposure 10 years ago as part of Wrestling Society X. I think this might be the first time he's been on national television since. Decent match, but everything went down the drain when the Addiction, who were denied entry at the top of the show, showed up anyway, and attacked both men. Jay Lethal came to Kushida's aid after Scorpio ate Celebrity Rehab, and challenged the Addiction to a match, which will take place in 2 weeks.
Winner: None. No Contest.
Bully Ray came out, wearing a hat & shades, selling severe head trauma as the result of Post Concussion Syndrome. He's not sure if he'll be able to come back from this. Mark Briscoe came out and offered some support at the base of the ramp, and he & Ray left together.
Ironically, after this was taped, Mark joined Ray on the DL with a shoulder injury.
Bullet Club comes out in force for 2 things. One, a taping of "Being the Elite", the Young Bucks' YouTube show. The other, celebrating Cody's signing a contract making him exclusive to ROH and filthy rich at the same time. Cody, despite being dressed to the nines, felt like competing anyway, and chose Cheeseburger as the "#1 contender".....
2. ROH title: Cody vs. Cheeseburger.
Cody ended up stripping as he went along. He entrusted his ring and necktie to Shane Taylor, hired on as a paid mercenary. Taylor didn't do much otherwise. Cheeseburger had some hope spots, but when Cody hit Cross-Rhodes, that should've been it, but it wasn't, and it nearly cost Cody the title. He finally shut down Cheeseburger by locking on the American (Indian) Deathlock, and 'Burger tapped.
Winner: Cody.
Coleman's Pulpit: Rhett Titus & Will Ferrara are the guests. Meh. Not worth the time when a real-life preacher is asked to continue playing a heel.
3. The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, & Vinny Marseglia) vs. Search & Destroy (Jonathan Gresham & the Motor City Machine Guns).
This was all about re-positing the Kingdom as threats to both the 4-and-6-man tag titles. The end came when Taven used his walking stick as an illegal weapon, and compounded his sin by grabbing the tights of Chris Sabin for the illegal pin.
Winners: The Kingdom.
