ROH title, 2-of-3 falls: Cody def. Christopher Daniels, 2-0.
It's a 1-match show this week, as Cody defends vs. Christopher Daniels in a 2-of-3 falls match. We're going old school!
But before all that, the first half of the show is taken up with a recap of everything that led to this point, from Cody winning at Best in the World to the Addiction cutting a promo turning themselves heel on the fans in Lowell, just because the fans, in turn, chose to cheer for Cody at Best in the World. Daniels' solo promo was repeated from last week. There's also a lengthy interview with Cody.
And, then, there is the walking distraction that is Silas Young. Young and the Beer City Bruiser's taunting of Jay Lethal went one week too long, and Lethal finally returned to collect a receipt with the aid of a steel chair.
ROH title: Cody vs. Christopher Daniels (w/Frankie Kazarian).
As Ian Riccoboni put it, while they were concerned about Bullet Club getting involved, and they didn't at Best in the World, they should've remembered that Kazarian could do some damage. However, in a battle of who could out-cheat who, Daniels, supposedly the smartest man in the room, was anything but. Cody retains in 2 straight falls, the last after hitting 2 Cross-Rhodes neckbreakers, with a blocked Best Mmonsault in between. Angel's wings only got 2. When Cody hit the 2nd Cross-Rhodes, Daniels had no more answers.
Winner: Cody.
