1. The Mack won a battle royal, earning a trios title shot.
2. Ivelisse def. Catrina.
3. Fenix def. Marty Martinez.
Part 2 of Ultima Lucha Tres starts with the return of Ivelisse, who finds out that Jeremiah Crane has been cheating on her with Catrina. Uh-oh!
1. Battle royal for a unique opportunity.
The contestants include the Rabbit Tribe, Argenis, Son of Madness, Mascarita Sagrada, The Mack, Cortez Castro, Joey Ryan, and the returning Pimpanela Escarlata.
Among the highlights: The Rabbits dispatched Son Of Madness, among others, but Pimpanela eliminated Paul London and Mala Suerte, leaving Saltadora, and Escarlata leaves him for Mascarita. It came down to Mack and 2 members of Worldwide Underground, Ricky Mundo and P. J. Black. A collision leads to Mundo being eliminated. Stunner to Black, and then he's gone.
Winner: The Mack.
Dario Cueto, looking swank in a tux, announces that Mack will team with Dante Fox & Killshot (!) vs. the Reptile Tribe next week.
2. Ivelisse vs. Catrina.
Speaking of swank, Mil Muertes rocks a 3-piece suit like he was a foreign dignitary, carrying the stone of death in a small box. This is Catrina's 1st official match in the Temple, and she has a black leotard and fishnet tights. Think that was her outfit as Maxine in NXT a few years back.
Anyway, early on, Catrina decides to stall, and ducks into Cueto's office. She emerges and cracks a glass over Ivie's head, busting her open. However, she can't close the deal. The stone comes into play, but not in the way Catrina wanted. Ivie gets it, and hits Catrina with it, then follows with a cradle DDT to end it.
Winner: Ivelisse.
Earlier, Ivie and Jeremiah had a lovers quarrel in the back. So, Jeremiah comes down with a hammer in hand, and he turns on Ivelisse, as they do another injury angle, on the same "broken ankle" that has kept Ivie sidelined for most of the series. Sick.
3. Mask vs. Hair: Fenix vs. Marty Martinez.
Fenix is introduced first so Melissa Santos can give her "boyfriend" a good luck kiss. Mariposa accompanies Martinez, but after getting caught interfering, she's ejected. Another even match, as Marty gets repeatedly frustrated, unable to finish off his opponent. He goes to the lunchbox and pulls out the scissors. Melissa takes her shoes off (she's wearing fishnet tights, too), and hops on the apron to scream at Martinez. She feigns submitting to him, but a low blow leads to a shining wizard and a springboard 450. Melissa hops on top of Fenix to ensure this Moth doesn't fly away.
Winner: Fenix.
Unfortunately, Martinez is unwilling to willingly give up his hair, and tries to escape. Mariposa returns, but turns on her "brother", and handcuffs Marty to the stairs. Melissa & Fenix begin cutting, and, yes, Matt Striker got in a Brutus Beefcake reference.
Next week:
Taya vs. Sexy Star-Last Luchadora Standing.
Trios title: Reptile Tribe vs. Mack, Dante Fox, & Killshot.
Gift of the Gods title: Son of Havoc vs. Pentagon Dark in a ladder match.
